That’s about what Daddy Gibbs said yesterday during Happy Hour. A justifiably unhappy Joe Gibbs pulled Tony and Denny Hamlin off the track and into Denny’s hauler.
Throughout his NASCAR career, Tony has occasionally needed the Coach to step in and straighten him out. This time, he got to straighten out both Denny and Tony. Both of them mouthed off about their teammate, although admittedly Tony started it. That’s something that Coach isn’t going to let go on.
I admire the fact that Coach Gibbs was willing to pull both drivers off the track during happy hour in order to make his point.
