World of Outlaws Tennessee Fall Brawl 100 at Volunteer Speedway

BULLS GAP, Tenn. — Race fans, get ready for an exciting two nights of racing in East Tennessee! It’s going to be an all-out war when the “outlaws” invade Volunteer Speedway on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 12-13 for the $20,000-to-win World of Outlaws Late Model Series Tennessee Fall Brawl 100 presented by the Rusty Wallace Automotive Group.
Many of the top names in dirt Late Model racing will be present, including Scott Bloomquist of Mooresburg, Tenn.; Steve Francis of Ashland, Ky.; Chub Frank of Bear Lake, Pa.; Clint Smith of Senoia, Ga.; Josh Richards of Shinnston, W.Va.; Rick Eckert of York, Pa.; Shane Clanton of Locust Grove, Ga.; Darrell Lanigan of Union, Ky.; Donnie Moran of Dresden, Ohio; Brian Shirley of Chatham, Ill.; Dale McDowell of Chickamauga, Ga.; along with many others.
Tennessee hotshoes looking to keep part of the huge purse in the Volunteer State away from the outside invading “outlaws” include Jimmy Owens of Newport, Vic Hill of Morristown, Skip Arp of Georgetown, Randy Weaver of Crossville, Kerry Jones of Bristol, Mike Smith of Rogersville, Jeff Maupin of Greeneville, Shanon Buckingham of Morristown, Herman Goddard of Knoxville, Shane Roberts of Bluff City, Rick Rogers of Knoxville, Mark Douglas of Knoxville, Anthony White of Clinton, Billy Ogle Jr. of Knoxville, Steve Smith of Powell, Joe Armes of Petros, Bobby Giffin of Maryville, along with many others.
World of Outlaws Late Model Series qualifying and heat races are scheduled on Friday, Oct. 12, along with an extended open practice for all WoO competitors. Adult grandstand admission on Friday is $15, children 6-12 $3, with 5-and-under admitted free. Pit admission and backside tier-parking $25.
Saturday, Oct. 13 will be an all-Late Model night, with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series $20,000-to-win Tennessee Fall Brawl 100 highlighting the racing program. The evening will begin with last chance WoO consolations, which will transfer the final entrants into the 24-car starting field. Also in action will be the “Ramey Ford” Crate Late Models as they will run a 25-lap feature event. Adult grandstand admission on Saturday is $25, children 6-12 $5, with 5-and-under admitted free. Pit admission and backside tier-parking $35.
The pit gate will open daily at 3 p.m. and the grandstand gate opens each afternoon at 4 p.m. Hotlaps are tentatively scheduled to begin each evening around 7 p.m., to be followed by racing action.
With a big crowd expected for the Tennessee Fall Brawl 100 — lawn chairs will not be allowed in the front straightaway grandstands — only stadium seat cushions with backs on them. The track apologizes for the possible inconvenience to some spectators, but all seating space will need to be utilized to its fullest for this event. Also, no coolers permitted in the front straightaway grandstands. However, they are allowed on the backside (pits and tier-parking).
Advance reserved seats are now on sale for the World of Outlaws Late Model Series Tennessee Fall Brawl 100 presented by the Rusty Wallace Automotive Group; they are the tower (orange backed) seats in turn four and in turn one above the main grandstands. Reserved seats must be purchased for both nights (Friday and Saturday), and the price for each reserved ticket is $40.
