HE SAID IT…
TRACY HINES ON MAKING HIS RETURN TO THE SEAT OF THE No. 21 TSR/CHEVROLET/BEAST USAC MIDGET:
“It was great to get back in the seat of a race car after being out for over six months. I can’t say enough about St. Vincent’s Sports Performance and its staff . To come back from the injuries that I had to being able to return to the car says a lot about their dedication and rehabilitation skills. My trainer, Ralph Reiff, came out with me to Phoenix and I was really glad to have him and the others there for my return. I would have liked to have had a better day on the track but we’ll work on moving forward and getting back on the track in California next week.
“I really want to thank everyone at St. Vincent’s, Tony Stewart Racing, Chevrolet, Bass Pro Shops and all of the others who’ve helped me get back into a race car. The support has been unbelievable and Christa (Hines’s wife) and I really appreciate it.”
