Tony’s Thursday Night Chili Bowl Results
Not a great night for Tony.
Started Heat number 2 on the pole and took the checkered.
Started Qualifier number 4 in 5th and finished 2nd behind Pole Sitter Garrett Hansen
In the A Main Tony started 4th, moved up to 3rd, then dropped back to 4th. He was passed again with only a couple laps to go finishing in 5th. Brad Kuhn started on the pole and led flag to flag.
Tony needed to finish in the top 4 in order to be guaranteed a spot in the A main on Saturday night. He’ll now be running in the B Main on Saturday night.
Although originally scheduled to run this evening, Tracy Hines was part of the rescheduling that saw Tony shifted from Friday night to tonight. Tracy will be running on Friday along with Josh Richards.
