Thus., Nov. 22 – Irwindale (Calif.) Speedway — (half-mile pavement oval)

  • Finished 27th in the 98-lap feature. Jones slid in oil in turn two and was struck by another car ending his night prematurely.
  • Qualified 19th of 66 cars.

To date:

  • Jones won five sprint feature events this season – (4) USAC and (1) open event.
  • Jones has won one midget feature events this season (1) USAC/BMARA national event.
  • Jones won the 2007 USAC National Sprint Car Series championship earning his second series title.
  • Jones finished the season ranked seventh in the USAC National Midget Car Series championship with 875 points.

RICKY STENHOUSE, JR. — No. 121 TSR/CHEVROLET/BEAST (USAC NATIONAL MIDGET CAR SERIES)

Thus., Nov. 22 – Irwindale (Calif.) Speedway — (half-mile pavement oval)

  • Finished 29th in the 98-lap feature event. Stenhouse slid (along with Jones) in oil and was struck by another car ending his night early.
  • Qualified 30th of 66 cars.

To date:

  • Stenhouse has won two USAC Silver Crown Series event this season.
  • He has won one USAC National Sprint Car Series feature event and five USAC National Midget Car Series features.
  • Stenhouse finished the season ranked third in the USAC Midget Series championship standings with 1,083 points.
  • He finished the season ranked sixth in the USAC Sprint Series title chase with 1,023 points.

TRACY HINES — No. 21 TSR/CHEVROLET/BEAST (USAC NATIONAL MIDGET CAR SERIES)

Thus., Nov. 22 – Irwindale (Calif.) Speedway — (half-mile pavement oval)

  • Finished 23rd in the 98-lap feature. Mechanical issues forced Hines to park the car before the end of the race.
  • Qualified 36th fastest of 66 cars.
  • Will continued therapy at St. Vincent’s Sports Medicine in Indianapolis during the off-season.

PAUL MCMAHAN, No. 20 TSR/BASS PRO SHOPS/EAGLE (World of Outlaws)

To date:

  • McMahan finished eighth in the World of Outlaws Sprint Series championship standings with 9,530 points.
  • In 74 starts, he earned two victories, eight quick time awards, 14 top-five finishes and 38 top-10 finishes to date.
