Tony Stewart Racing Saturday Night Results
It was another busy night for Tony Stewart Racing, and the bosses other team also. Iowa Speedway hosted the USAC triple crown while the World of Outlaws Sprint Series was at I-96 Speedway in Michigan. Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman spent the night at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race.
World of Outlaws Sprint
Steve Kinser
- Qualified 2nd
- Started Heat in 4th and finished 3rd
- Started Dash in 5th and finished in 7th
- Started Feature in 7th, had a flat tire on lap 18 and finished 9th
Donny Schatz
- Qualified 11th
- Started Heat in 2nd and WON
- Started Dash on pole and WON
- Started Feature on pole, shredded a tire on lap 18 and finished 12th.
USAC Sprint
Levi Jones
- Qualified 4th
- Started Feature in 4th and finished 5th
USAC Silver Crown
Levi Jones
- Qualified 8th
- Started Feature in 8th and broke on lap 86. Finished 14th
Bryan Clauson
- Qualified 17th
- Started Feature in 17th and pulled off during the caution for Jones’ broken car. Finished 13th
NASCAR All-Star Race
Ryan Newman started 10th and finished 11th.
Tony Stewart started 11th and was caught up in a wreck at the start of the final segment. He was able to continue and finished 5th
