Josh Richards and the World of Outlaws Late Models got some beautiful weather at Sharon Speedway as they made up last nights rained out event. Out west Tony Stewart and Donny Schatz visited Red River Valley Speedway to race with the O’Reilly All-Star Circuit of Champions sprint series. Red River Valley is the track that is being managed this year by Donny Schatz’s father.
World of Outlaws Late Models – Sharon Speedway
Josh Richards
- Qualified 1st.
- WON heat #1
- Finished 3rd in the feature after starting 6th.
O’Reilly All-Star Circuit of Champions – Red River Valley Speedway
Tony Stewart
- Qualified 1st
- WON heat #1 after starting 6th.
- Started 4th in the feature, suffered a flat tire on lap 20, came back and was involved in an accident while running 2nd. Finished in 26th position.
Donny Schatz
- Qualified 12th.
- WON heat #3.
- WON the feature after starting 9th.
