It was a busy night for Tony Stewart Racing with the World of Outlaws running the World Finals at The Dirt Track @ Lowe’s Motor Speedway and the USAC Sprints at Perris Auto Speedway in Perris, California.
World of Outlaws World Finals at The Dirt Track @ Lowe’s Motor Speedway
Donny Schatz won his heat race, finished 3rd in the Crane Cams Dash and finished 2nd in the 30 lap A Main to winner Jason Meyers. Schatz goes into Saturday nights final race of the season with a 25 point lead over Jason Meyers.
Kraig Kinser had a problem in his heat race and finished 12th. Running in the B Main he finished 2nd to move on to the A Main. Kraig started 18th in the A Main and was involved in a multi-car crash on the first lap but was able to continue. He ended the night with a 9th place finish.

TSR sponsored Josh Richards ran 2nd in his heat race. Starting 7th in the 50 lap A Main, Josh finished 5th after he suffered a flat tire with 7 laps to go. Josh enters Saturday nights final race of the season with a 4 point lead over Steve Francis after Francis suffered an engine problem with 14 laps to go and finished 9th.
USAC Sprint Budweiser Oval Nationals at Perris Auto Speedway in Perris, CA
Levi Jones started the A Main in 2nd and won by 0.025 seconds over John Stanbrough.
Tracy Hines finished 8th in the B Main used a provisional to start last in the A main and finished 18th.
