Haubstadt, IN – Blake Fitzpatrick of West Terre Haute, Ind. scored his first-ever USAC AMSOIL National Sprint car feature victory Saturday night at Tri-State Speedway but Jon Stanbrough’s second-place finish earned him the title of 2010 Indiana Sprint Week Champion.
Fitzpatrick caught Dave Darland on lap 27 and led the final four laps in his Forsythe Racing/Industrial Anodizing Maxim/Chevy. Stanbrough caught Darland at the checkered flag for second, ahead of Bryan Clauson and Damion Gardner.

Levi Jones traveled to Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana Saturday night looking for the Indiana Sprint Week title. Steve Kinser and Donny Schatz were at Eldora Speedway looking for a different title, that of “The King”. Tony Stewart again did double duty running with both the World of Outlaws and joining Jessica Zemken in running 360 Sprints with the NRA Sprint Invaders. How did it turn out?

Bloomington, IN – Jon Stanbrough of Avon, Ind. earned his third Indiana Sprint Week victory of 2010 Friday night at the Bloomington Speedway, leading the final 17 laps of the USAC AMSOIL National Sprint race in his Jarvis Enterprises/Peterbuilt of Northwest Ohio DRC/Foxco.
Stanbrough caught early leader Hunter Schuerenberg on lap 14 and led the rest of the way to beat Schuerenberg, Levi Jones, Damion Gardner and Jos Sciscoe.

Defending Indiana Sprint Week Champion Levi Jones of Olney, Ill. has jumped out to an early lead in the 2010 standings as a result of a win, a third and a fourth in the opening races. He takes a 32-point lead over Brady Short into Wednesday night’s resumption of the seven-race series. Races at the Terre Haute Action Track (Wednesday), Brownstown Speedway (Thursday) and Bloomington Speedway (Friday) precede Saturday night’s finale at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind.
