Continue reading Copper World Classic Coming Up Thursday at Phoenix International Raceway Rossburg, OH – Dave Darland of Lincoln, Ind. successfully defended his Team Chevy “4-Crown Nationals” USAC Silver Crown title Saturday night, winning the 50-lap feature at the Eldora Speedway. Driving the Jarvis Enterprises/Plastic Express Beast/Foxco Chevy, Darland passed series point leader Bud Kaeding on lap six and led the rest of the way to beat fast qualifier Shane Hmiel, Jerry Coons Jr., Cole Whitt and Josh Wise. Kaeding virtually locked up the 2009 K & N Silver crown title with his eighth-pkace finish.
