I listened to tonights race on DirtVision.  I must say that I was impressed with the quality of the broadcast.  If you haven’t listened to one of their broadcasts, it’s the same broadcast as you would hear over the track PA system if you were there.

Kraig Kinser started 11th and Donny Schatz started 24th in the 30 lap A Main. Danny Lasoski started on the pole with Friday nights winner Craig Dollansky on the outside of the front row.  As the cars came around for the salute to the fans, Sam Hafertepe, who was scheduled to start 19th, went to the work area.  He returned to the track before the green and started at the rear.

By lap 14, when caution came out for Daryn Pittman after contact with Jason Meyers, Kinser was still in 11th and Schatz had moved up to 15th.

On lap 23 Shane Stewart was running in 5th when he had an axle problem, moving Schatz into the top ten. Kinser was running 13th.

A lap later there was a caution for Cody Darrah after contact with Greg Hodnett. Schatz had moved up to 8th.

On lap 25 Joey Saldana got past Schatz moving him back to 9th where he finished.  Kinser wound up in the 12th spot.

Danny Lasoski led wire to wire and picked up his 7th win at Volusia.

Up next: Pike County Speedway in Magnolia, Mississippi on Saturday the 16th.
