Just realized I forgot to update Tony’s visit to Skagit.

Tony’s appearance at Skagit Speedway came to a premature end on Wed., Aug. 29, as the No. 20 Tony Stewart Racing/Old Spice/Chevrolet/Eagle was caught up in an early race accident. Finishing second in the first heat race for the 360 winged sprint cars, Stewart lined up for the start of the 30-lap A-main at the 3/10-mile, high-banked clay oval. After being caught up by a spinning Danielle Huson, Stewart’s No. 20 machine suffered a torn brake line, ending his run for the night.

The Kasey Kahne Foundation was presented with a $140,000 check on behalf of Skagit Speedway during the intermission on Wednesday night.
