Stewart Takes Pole for Saturdays Nationwide Race

Daytona Beach, FL - Tony Stewart will start Saturday’s Camping World 300 from the pole as he turned in a lap in 49.741 seconds (180.937 m.p.h.).
The pole victory was the fifth of Stewart’s Nationwide career and first since Watkins Glen in 2005.
“It was really fast in drafting practice, these guys at JGR did a great job,” said Stewart.
Clint Bowyer will be outside of Tony as he posted a lap of 49.972 seconds.
The green flag will drop on the Nationwide series at 1:15 Saturday.
