NASCAR Daily News Headlines reports that:
Morgan Shepherd’s Faith Motorsports Dodge will hopefully be making a lot more trips around the Richmond International Raceway this weekend, thanks to the generosity of two of the veteran driver’s modern-day heroes.
Two-time Sprint Cup Champion Tony Stewart and broadcaster Matt Yocum will provide tire sponsorship to the #89 team this weekend in an effort to help Shepherd build on last week’s 13th place run at Talladega.

From a long time RACING fan whose first driving hero was Fireball Roberts , I thank you for what you and Yokum did for Morgan Shephard at Richmond. The old guys don’t get enough respect from most other young guys. They don’t seem to realize that these drivers blazed a trail so that there are big paydays and a lot of other benefits that the old guys did not have.
