Sad news from Vienna Township

Scott Seaton, 51 years old died Saturday after his sprint car crashed at Auto City Speedway in Gennessee County. He was in the Auto Value Super Sprint Series second heat when apparently his throttle stuck wide open and slammed into a wall at an estimate 130-150 mph.
Seaton raced full bodied cars before making the switch to sprint cars 17 years ago. He was in his 30th year of short track racing.
