HE SAID IT…RICKY STENHOUSE ON THE TEAM’S WIN IN THE USAC MIDGET SERIES PORTION OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION WEEKEND/USAC 4-CROWN NATIONALS AT ELDORA SPEEDWAY:

“Chevrolet, Bass Pro Shops and Tony Stewart provide us with some awesome stuff to go out and race and we make the best out of everything we get. It was great to wrap up the midget season in this part of the country with a win for Chevy. I’m ready to go out west for the end of the season. I think we’re going to have some really good runs out there to end the season with.”

STENHOUSE ON HITTING THE WALL IN THE SPRINT CAR FEATURE EVENT:

“When you have a chance to make a move on someone, you have to take it, because you might not have that chance again in the race. I entered the turn a little too hard to make the slide, and I found the wall but that’s what happens. It was great that we were able to get one win tonight, but it would have been nice to have gotten two. We had three good cars tonight. The midget won. The loss of the sprint race was my fault and the silver crown car just didn’t have enough.”
