Richards, Lanigan, Francis Take Over Unsanctioned Northern Rankings
by Steve HixsonKeeping with the pace of things, the pair of Big Wins on the World of Outlaw Late Model tour in the Northern Regional Conference has also posted Josh Richards up to third in the the Unsanctioned Northern Rankings.
The advancement bumped Jeremy Miller from the top five, landing Kid-Rocket’s rocket directly behind fellow World of Outlaw Late Model series alumni Darrell Lanigan. The Pennsylvania Posse (dirt Super Late Model version) was Totally Shut-Out of the top five in last weekends stretch. Northern RANKINGS points leader Robbie Blair of Titusville, hasn’t had a non-points tally weekend since late June but still has an 150 point advantage, over his clostest competitor.
This the fourth and final weekend in July, begins early (like tonight), July 25th, with the WoOLMs in Attica, Ohio, for a $7,000., to win show, that will NOT produce numbers for the National Conference Championship, due to the $10,000., to win minimum guidelines. Same goes for the next night in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The NCC and some NRC racers could post points on Friday and Saturday, as Ohio remains the stomping grounds for the WoOLMs with a pair of $10,000., to win events. Wrapping up the North this weekend will be Saturday nights Independant Racing series $5,000., to Win event in Winchester, Virginia.
