Not NASCAR but I think it says something about the ARCA view of “cheating”.

Based on post-race technical inspection after Saturday’s ARCA 200 at Daytona ARCA RE/MAX Series race at Daytona Int’l Speedway, the Schrader Racing #52 team has been fined $6000 and team owner Ken Schrader and driver Bill Baird have been penalized with the loss of 100 championship points. The penalties were issued for violation of the minimum rear quarter panel height rule per the 2008 ARCA Rulebook and race event technical bulletin.

What kind of uproar would it cause in NASCAR if a team lost 100 points for violating the height rule?

These guys mean business.
