HE SAID IT…

PAUL MCMAHAN ON THE TEAM’S SEVENTH QUICK TIME AWARD OF THE YEAR AT CASTROL RACEWAY:

“The Chevrolet engines have just been ripping lately. They’ve been a lot of fun to drive. We’ve really gotten a handle on our engine program from where we were in the beginning of the year. The TSR team, Paul Kistler and the Chevrolet engineers have worked hard to get us up to speed in a relatively short period of time. In the first feature at Castrol after we set the track record, I just tried to do too much. Under the open red, we freed up the car quite a bit and it came back in to finish the race. We got another top-10 and learned even more about how our chassis/shock/engine package reacts to certain track conditions. We’re looking forward to heading back to Skagit Speedway later this week. It will be the first time in almost 10 years I’ve competed there and I’d love to get another victory for Bass Pro Shops and Chevy.”
