Newman to join Stewart-Haas for 2009 season

Sure didn’t see that coming. </sarcasm>.  So the announcement we’ve been expecting is finally going to happpen at 10:30 a.m. ET Friday.  Tony Stewart is going to announce that Ryan Newman will be driving the #4 car for Stewart-Haas Racing in 2009.

The only question remaining is, who’s the sponsor?  Burger King, U.S. Army and UPS have all been mentioned as potential sponsors, but nobody is talking if a sponsor has been nailed down.
