Who’s Hot? Kurt Busch picked up the win today giving him victories in 2 of the last 3 Cup races. Combine that with the fact that Tony Stewart has won 3 of the last 5 and I’d have to say that Stewart and Busch are both hot.

Have a nice day. Toyota picked up a couple of top 10’s with Blaney finishing 6th and Vickers coming in 8th.

Well done to: Bobby Labonte for putting King Richards 43 in the top 10 with a 9th place finish.

Can’t win em all: Tony finished the day in 10th place.

What if …..The chase started this weekend? What’s the leader board look like?

1. Jeff Gordon 5040
1. Jimmie Johnson 5040
3. Tony Stewart 5030
4. Kurt Busch 5020
5. Denny Hamlin 5010
5. Matt Kenseth 5010
5. Carl Edwards 5010
5. Jeff Burton 5010
5. Kyle Busch 5010
5. Kevin Harvick 5010
5. Marin Truax Jr. 5010
12 Clint Bowyer 5000

As drivers get locked in, so far only Gordon and Hamlin are locked, we’re going to see a lot more drivers taking chances to get the win and those 10 extra points.  Gordon admitted that’s why he didn’t go for tires at the end and Hamlin, who locked in today, said that he would take more risks in order to get the win.  Should be fun to watch.

Next week: Bristol under the lights.  Need I say more?
