Thus., Nov. 1 – Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway — (half-mile dirt oval)

  •  Finished 14th in the 25-lap preliminary feature.
  • Qualified 24th fastest of 68 cars.
  • Finished third in the fourth heat race.
  • Maintained series points lead with 1,263 points.

Fri., Nov. 2 – Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway — (half-mile dirt oval)

  •  Finished seventh in the 25-lap preliminary feature.
  • Qualified 11th fastest of 67 cars.
  • Finished fourth in the first heat race.
  • Maintained series points lead with 1,310 points.

Sat., Nov. 3 – Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway — (half-mile dirt oval)

  •  Finished 16th in the 40-lap feature.
  • Maintained series points lead with 1,331 points.

To date:

  • Jones has won five sprint feature events this season – (4) USAC and (1) open event.
  • Jones has won one midget feature events this season (1) USAC/BMARA national event.
  • Jones leads the USAC National Sprint Car Series championship standings with 1,331 points.
  • Jones is ranked seventh in the USAC National Midget Car Series championship with 849 points.

FAST FORWARD…Thus., Nov. 8 – Phoenix International Raceway – (one-mile pavement oval) – USAC Midget Series

  •  Jones will compete in the Copper World Classic event at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) with the USAC Midget Series.
  • Practice for the USAC Midget Series will take place at 9:45 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. MDT.
  • Gates will open to the public at 10 a.m.
  • Qualifying will take place at 2:45 p.m., with the 25-lap feature event scheduled for 7:45 p.m.
  • Jones finished 11th in his last appearance at PIR on
  • an. 22, 2006. Dave Steele won the feature event.

Fri., Nov. 9 – Sat., Nov. 10 – Manzanita Speedway in Phoenix – (one-mile pavement oval) – USAC Sprint Series

  • Jones will compete in the two-day Western World event with the USAC Sprint Series.
  • Pit gates will open at 11 a.m. MDT both days. Grandstand gates will open at 5 p.m., on Friday and 4 p.m. on Saturday.
  • Racing is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m., both nights.\Friday’s preliminary feature will be 25-laps in length. Saturday’s race will be a 40-lap event.
  • Jones finished 16th in his last appearance at the facility on Feb. 10, 2007. A blown right rear tire sent him to the rear of the field. TSR’s Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. , won the event.
