Levi Jones – No. 20 TSR/Chevrolet/Spike (USAC National Midget Car Series)

• Fri., September 7 – Plymouth (Wis.) Dirt Track — (1/3-mile dirt oval)
• Jones won the 30-lap feature event. Victory marked his first career USAC National Midget Car Series event win.
• Event was co-sanctioned with the Badger Midget Auto Racing Association (BMARA) Series.
• Qualified eighth fastest of 23 cars.
• Won the second heat race.
• Started on the pole for the feature event.

To date:

•  Jones has won five sprint feature events this season – (4) USAC and (1) open event.
• Jones has won one midget feature events this season (1) USAC/BMARA national event.
• Jones leads the USAC National Sprint Car Series championship standings with 1,206 points.
• Jones is ranked seventh in the USAC National Midget Car Series championship with 786 points.

LEVI JONES ON WINNING HIS FIRST CAREER USAC/BMARA NATIONAL MIDGET SERIES EVENT:

“It felt really good to finally get a win in the midget. The TSR team really worked well together on Friday night and when all the pieces fall into place like that, winning is a great result. We’ve been running really well in the past few midget events and at Plymouth, we finally had everything fall into place for us. The track got pretty slick as the night went on and you really had to use your head in the feature. I focused on hitting my marks each lap and not making any mistakes and we were able to put Chevrolet, TSR and Bass Pro Shops in victory lane. I’m really proud of the TSR team and I can’t wait to go to Anderson this weekend to see if we can get another win.”

• Jones will compete in a one-day event with the USAC National Midget Car Series.
• Anderson Speedway is a ¼-mile, high-banked paved oval.
• The event will be Jones’ first appearance at the facility with the USAC Midget Series.
• The feature will be 30 laps in length.
• Grandstand gates will open at 5 p.m. EDT on September 15.
• Qualifying is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. EDT. Racing will begin at 8 p.m.
• The last USAC Midget Series event held at Anderson Speedway on Sept. 11, 2004, was won by David Gough.
