HE SAID IT…
LEVI JONES ON THE NO. 20 TSR TEAM’S PERFORMANCE IN THE USAC INDIANA MIDGET WEEK SERIES:
“We were able to finish up the week on a decent note with a top-10 at Kokomo. Not qualifying each night really changed the format for the racing, and we never seemed to get a good draw or any luck. It was good to get a couple wins in the sprint cars at Gas City and Lawrenceburg, though. I’ll take a win any time. We’re going to get back in the shop this week and get our midgets and silver crown series cars ready to go for this weekend in Illinois. I’m really looking forward to getting back into the silver crown car after not getting to race in May due to the rain. It would be great to get a win in both the midget and the silver crown series for Chevrolet and Bass Pro Shops. We’re due to find the winner’s circle again soon.”
