Levi Jones at Wednesday Nights Chili Bowl

I missed hearing the early heats tonight, including Levi’s but RacinBoys.com posted the results.
Levi ran in Heat number 2 starting out 3rd and finishing 2nd behind Davey Ray.
Running in the 1st qualifying race, Levi started 3rd. He took the lead at the end of lap 1. A caution came and after the restart another caution came out, this one on lap 2. Levi got a great restart and within a lap he had a straightaway lead. He wound up winning by 1/2 lap with Josh Ford coming in 2nd.
The A Main didn’t go quite as well as Levi started on the outside of row number 2 but stalled out on lap 2. He went to the back of the field and finished 18th. He’ll now have to work his way through the multitude of Mains on Saturday to have a shot at the Golden Driller.
Thursday nights action on RacinBoys.com starts at 6:30 Eastern and due to a change in the schedule, Tony Stewart will be running Thursday, not Friday as previously announced.
I’m kind of bummed about the change since Friday night there is a webcast. Oh well, at least we’ll be able to see Josh Richards Friday night.
