ROSSBURG, OH  – While the roar of engines at Eldora (OH) Speedway may have subsided only a few weeks ago, attention is already being drawn to the 2008 season. Track owner Tony Stewart has announced his major event dates for next season on the infamous one-half mile clay oval, along with pricing and sale date information for those events. With strong tradition behind each of them, Stewart wisely opted to fill their traditional time slots.

Kicking off the slate of time-honored meets is the 14th annual Dirt Late Model Dream over the weekend of June 6 & 7, featuring a winner’s payday of $100,000.

One of Sprint Car racing’s crown jewel events will celebrate its 25th anniversary, with the running of the $50,000 to win Kings Royal on Saturday, July 12, preceded by the Knight Before the Kings Royal on Friday. Both events will again by sanctioned by the World of Outlaws (WoO).

With the exception of a nominal increase of $2 for the Kings Royal, Stewart has held the line on ticket prices for the 2008 major events.
