Perris, CA – Bryan Clauson of Noblesville, Ind. led all 25 laps to win Thursday night’s 14th “Budweiser Oval Nationals” preliminary feature at the Perris Auto Speedway. He piloted the Parker Stone Company/Gaerte Engines Maxim to his ninth victory in USAC competition this season. “It’s a great way to start off the week,” said Clauson in victory lane.
Jon Stanbrough finished a close second ahead of National point leader Levi Jones, Damion Gardner and Rip Williams. USAC/CRA point leader Mike Spencer finished seventh. The “Budweiser Oval Nationals” continues at Perris Friday and Saturday nights.
