Ted Horn 100 Returns to the Magic Mile

One year after getting completely washed out by Mother Nature the Ted Horn 100 USAC Silver Crown Championship Series race returns to light up the night at the 88th DuQuoin State Fair on Sunday, September 5. A large number of USAC’s top stars are expected for the 100-mile grind which began in 1949 and has been held annually except when rained out in 1950, 1962 and 2009.

Ted Horn 100 at DuQuoin State Fairgrounds this Sunday

Clauson Sweeps Hall of Fame Classic at Angell Park

Sun Prairie, WI – Bryan Clauson of Noblesville, Ind. capped off a perfect “National Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame Classic” Sunday night, winning the 30-lap USAC Mopar National Midget finale at Angell Park Speedway. Clauson also won Saturday’s 30-lapper at Sun Prairie in his Parker Stone Esslinger/Spike and claimed the overall two-race title.

Tony Stewart Racing Results for Saturday 8/28

Levi Jones took his TSR Midget to Angell Park Raceway for day 1 of the ‘Hall of Fame Classic’ while Steve Kinser and Donny Schatz were at Castrol Raceway in Edmonton for night 2 of the 4th Annual Oil City Cup. 50TH Tony Bettenhausen 100 Canceled After Parties Fail to Agree on Reschedule Date

Track Enterprises, USAC and the Illinois State Fairgrounds regretfully announce the cancellation of the “Tony Bettenhausen 100” USAC Silver Crown Championship and UMP Modified race at the one-mile dirt Springfield oval. A reschedule date was unable to be found to fit all parties involved.
