Boogity, Boogity, Boogity…Let’s Go Racing Boys

The preludes are finally over.  Dale Jr. has paced the Hendrick group while Stewart and Hamlin have each provided a win leading up to today.  So what’s your feeling, who will end the day in the winners circle, Hendrick or Gibbs?

And what happened to all that talk about Gibbs having a down year because of the switch to Toyota?  Did everyone forget that the new cars are all the same except for the decals?

I’m ready.  I’m excited.  I don’t think I’ve ever looked forward to a Daytona 500 like this one.  I think it’s the year that Smoke takes home the Harley Earl Trophy.  So to quit good old DW, boogity boogity boogity! Let’s go racin’ boys!

  1. I’m glad it’s finally a points race. I’m not a huge fan of the non-points events. I’m a big picture person, and points racin’ looks at the big picture. Sure there’s a lot of time to climb back into the chase, but I think it’s a lot easier for everyone on your team when you finish this one somewhere up front. Should Tony hang back and settle for second? No, ’cause he really would like a Daytona 500 victory. But let’s not end up like last year.
