An Exciting Finish to a Terrible Race
Well Tony sure called this one. With a record 12 cautions, mostly caused by drivers spinning out because of the new track/tires, the Busch race at Vegas stunk.
Greg Biffle told a reporter (Alan Bestwick?) that the best way he could describe the conditions was that it was like driving on “black ice”. If you ever driven on black ice, you know that it’s a very unsettling feeling as you have no idea where your car is going to go.
The finish of the race was pretty good though as Jeff Burton got past Kyle Busch to take the win. Kurt crossed the finish line sideways and Tony wound up with a third place finish.
Credit RCR with building a strong engine since at one point around halfway through the engine temp was 280 and the oil was off the gauge. The pit crew pulled some tape and the engine lasted the rest of the day. Had ole Rusty Wallace flumoxed as he couldn’t believe the engine lasted.
Third place, not to bad for driving on ice. Of course, Tony has a lot of experience driving cars that are all over the track. It’s what seperates the good drivers from the great one.

Thank you. I’m glad you like it.
I got tired of having to look everywhere to find out about Tony and TSR so I figured other fans probably did too. Why not put it all in one spot.
