DuQUOIN IL - It was a long, all-night plane ride from California Speedway to the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds, but Tony Stewart, on little sleep, if any at all, made it.
He made it because he understands the significance of racing at fairgrounds like DuQuoin where, for so many, it all began so many years ago.
He also brought a car with him - the #20 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet with young, Shinnston, WV driver Josh Richards in the driver’s chair. Yes, Tony Stewart, ARCA RE/MAX Series car owner is here.
He also offered-up this interview regarding the ARCA RE/MAX Series racing on dirt.

Tony realises that the grassroots racing is the foundation of the sport with out that there is no sport….
