Yeley Out at Hall of Fame Racing

J.J. Yeley, has been released by Hall of Fame Racing in favor of Brad Coleman.  Yeley came to NASCAR at the urging of Tony Stewart after a USAC career that included becoming only the second driver in USAC history to win the triple crown, championships in Silver Crown, Midgets and Sprint cars in the same year.  The first driver to accomplish the task was Tony Stewart himself.

Yeley replaced Bobby Labonte in the Interstate Batteries #18 but was never able to achieve the success that was expected of him, scoring just 1 top 5 and 6 top 10′s in 78 races.

Yeley moved to Hall of Fame Racing in 2008 as Kyle Busch took over the #18.  In 17 races he had 1 top 5 and 1 top
