Sarver, PA — Mother Nature wouldn’t allow the second annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com to be completed on Sunday.
With showers continuing to hit Lernerville Speedway in waves and more still on the way, officials made a late-afternoon decision to postpone the blockbuster $150,000 World of Outlaws Late Model Series event.
A new date for the finale of the Firecracker 100 weekend will be announced soon by track and series officials.
The $40,000-to-win event kicked off in spectacular fashion on Friday night with a huge crowd watching six memorable qualifying heat races for 62 dirt Late Models, building the anticipation for the main event. Indianapolis, IN (TSR) – Tony Stewart Racing’s Tracy Hines and Levi Jones took control of all three USAC National Racing Series divisions with solid finishes at Richmond International Raceway (RIR) over the weekend.
Hines leads the K&N Silver Crown Series Championship standings with 102 points. He is also at the top of the USAC National Midget Car Series standings with 468 points.
Jones regained the USAC Sprint Car Series point lead at RIR on Saturday. He leads the series standings with 555 points.
TSR will resume USAC Sprint Car Series racing action on July 9th at Lawrenceburg Speedway with the opening night of Indiana Sprint Week presented

New Richmond, WI (TSR) – Donny Schatz has had a lot of strong months during his career with the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, but never had he won more than five A-Feature events with the series during a single month. That all changed on Sunday night, as he picked up third consecutive win and sixth in the month of June, as he was victorious at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin to wrap up the month for the series.
