Kinser Seeks Consistency As WoO Sprint Series Heads to Tri-City, Paducah

INDIANAPOLIS – For Kraig Kinser and the Tony Stewart Racing team, actual racing action in the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Series isn’t the only thing that has been elusive thus far this season. The No. 20 Bass Pro Shops/Chevy/Maxim team has also continued to seek consistency on the track.

As Kinser and the TSR team head to Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, Ill., and Paducah (Ky.) International Raceway (PIR) for a doubleheader this weekend, they’ll be looking to hit the perfect combination on both of the 3/8-mile facilities.

Friday’s event at Tri-City will see him return to the track for the first time since it was resized from a half-mile to the current configuration. In his last appearance at the facility, on May 7,

TSR and Donny Schatz Look To Build Momentum

NDIANAPOLIS – Coming off several consecutive weekends of racing at big, half-mile dirt ovals, Donny Schatz and the Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) team return to action with a pair of single-night programs on Midwestern short tracks. Schatz and the TSR team enter the weekend on a high following their first victory of the 2008 Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint series campaign.

Schatz will pilot the TSR No. 15 Armor All/Chevy/ParkerStore J&J first on Friday night at the 3/8-mile semi banked Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, Ill., and then on Saturday night at the 3/8-mile high-banked Paducah (Ky.) International Raceway (PIR).

TSR Heads to Bloomington and Eldora For USAC National Sprint Car Series Doubleheader

INDIANAPOLIS – Tony Stewart Racing’s (TSR) Levi Jones and Tracy Hines will enter this weekend’s USAC National Sprint Car Series doubleheader riding the momentum of a victory and top-five finish at Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway last Saturday. The duo will head to Bloomington (Ind.) Speedway on Friday, then Tony Stewart’s Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, on Saturday.

Jones, who grabbed the lead in the USAC Sprint Series championship standings with his victory last weekend, will look to go two-for-two this weekend. The two-time series champion has yet to win at the quarter-mile Bloomington Speedway bullring and would like nothing more than to put the No. 20 TSR/Chevy/Maxim in the winner’s circle Friday. Levi Jones to appear on The USAC Racing Show this Wednesday

INDIANAPOLIS – This Wednesday night at 9pm eastern, catch the “USAC Racing Show” on RaceFanRadio.com as host Rob Klepper talks to the stars of USAC Racing from coast to coast.This week join Klepper as he talks to Current National Sprint Car points leader and Brownstown Speedway winner Levi Jones and “Midget Maynia” Tour Promoter Dan Thiel. We went out for qualifying late and were able to come away second quick. That really helped to put us in a good position early on in the night. At the start of the heat race, the car was really good. We were battling for the third position and I had contact with another car that turned down on me. I got upside-down and we left the track on the hook, but Rob (Hart, crew chief) and John (Sayne, crew) had parts ready
