INDIANAPOLIS – Two-time defending Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws (WoO) champion Donny Schatz knows the importance of safety. Tony Stewart Foundation Announces “Smoke’s Pit Stop for Charity” Program

INDIANAPOLIS  – The Tony Stewart Foundation (TSF) is proud to announce a partnership with iSold It® – the leading eBay drop-off store and No. 1 eBay seller – for a one-of-a-kind fundraiser.Beginning May 1 and continuing through July 31, 2008, “Smoke’s Pit Stop for Charity” event will allow race fans to donate a wide range of exclusive items to help generate support for TSF, the philanthropic institution founded by two-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Tony Stewart.

TSF raises funds and distributes grants to IRS-qualified charitable organizations that provide for the physical well-being of children, and specifically, children who are critically ill or severely injured. TSF also supports animal welfare and conservation while also providing support to drivers seriously injured in the sport of auto racing.

Josh Richards Falls Short In Bid For Sunday-Night Victory

SHINNSTON, WV – Josh Richards enjoyed a great run in Sunday night’s inaugural Unified Force Race Championship (UFO) series event at Challenger Raceway in Indiana, Pa.The 20-year-old star from Shinnston, W.Va., would have loved his visit to the Keystone State, however, if he could have pulled off a victory in the ‘Area 51’ special. He fell just short of that honor, placing second to Titusville, Pa.’s Robbie Blair.

Josh had the Ernie Davis-owned Rocket No. 25 rolling all night, charging from the 11th starting spot to win a heat race and advancing from the ninth starting spot in the 51-lap feature to take the lead on lap 23.

The race’s second half featured a titanic battle for the top spot between Josh and Blair. Josh lost the lead

Josh Richards Ready To Try Out A DIRTcar Big-Block Modified On May 1 At Virginia Motor Speedway

Jamaica, VA – Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series star Brett Hearn and World of Outlaws Late Model Series standout Josh Richards have joined forces to pose a double threat when the 2nd Annual Paul Sawyer Memorial arrives at Virginia Motor Speedway on Thurs., May 1.

With a first-place prize of $10,000 on the line, Richards won’t just be riding around in Hearn’s back-up Madsen Motorsports No. 20 Wentworth Custom Homes-Kruger-WLR/TEO Pro entry. The Shinnston, W.Va., chauffeur plans to be a solid contender despite making his first-ever appearance in a mighty Big-Block Modified.
