Barbersville, FL – Steve Kinser got his first World of Outlaws win at Volusia Speedway Park in 1981 during the first World of Outlaws season. Sunday night, he started second in the World of Outlaws feature and took home the trophy. The win was the second of the season for Tony Stewart Racing. Teammate Donny Schatz finished 4th. Finishing between the pair were Joey Saldana in second and Danny Lasoski in third.
Schatz Gets Win Number 101
BARBERVILLE, FL – Donny Schatz was stuck on 100 for too long. In the 2010 World of Outlaws season opener Saturday night, the four-time and defending WoO champion kicked off the 2010 season just as he did in 2007 and 2009, with a win. Schatz Takes World of Outlaws Opener for Win No. 101
Four-time and defending World of Outlaws Champion Donny Schatz kicked off 2010 in grand fashion as he captured the first World of Outlaws feature that also included the first ever World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series double-file restart. Richards Day Ends Early at Daytona
Daytona – The day ended early at Daytona International Speedway for Josh Richards as he was one of seven drivers caught up in a lap 7 incident that started when 1998 ARCA Racing Series Champion Bill Baird and Steve Blackburn tangled in turns 1 and 2. Although Richards was unhurt in the accident, the same couldn’t be said for his No. 99 Presta Products Chevrolet. After 6 full laps, his foray into pavement racing was finished for the day.
